Since its creation in 1992 by a private shareholder group, IDEE groups together a multidisciplinary team of engineers and experts specialised in aquaculture with about 15 years of professional experience in Mediterranean, North Atlantic and tropical environments. Around this team, a group with specialist expertise has been developed, particularly in the fields of hydraulic, CAD in 3D and socio-economic studies.

In 2000, with our growing workload, a second office was created on the Atlantic coast, to better serve our major clients in this area.



Besides, the diversity of the contracts undertaken by IDEE sometimes requires the constitution of interdisciplinary teams, including French scientists (IFREMER), private producers, and foreign collaborators.

Moreover, permanent consultants provide an additional commercial representation, in particular in the South-East of Asia (Indonesia and Singapore).
